The Process

THE PROCESS, KNOWN AS DIGITAL MURAL ART (DMA),
ENABLES ANY IMAGE TO BE PERMANENTLY EMBEDDED
ONTO ALMOST ANY SURFACE FOR A LIFETIME.

Surfaces do not need to be smooth and can include a large range of textures such as timber, plaster, glass, tiles, marble, stone, concrete and leather. Our technicians prepare the relevant surface with the appropriate Digital Affresco medium eco-chemicals. The DMA Media Texture is then placed over the surface. The DMA Media Texture is a joined double layer consisting of an inner “tnt” component with an external “release paper” protection. It comes in rolls and is printed through the use of specialised digital plotters using eco-paints.

The inner coating of the DMA Texture Media temporarily receives, and then permits migration of, the pigments onto the prepared surface through specially developed eco-chemicals. The image requires from 6 hours to overnight to dry and transfer the image. If the image is to be applied to an external surface a final protective coating is used to extend the lifespan of the image.

All of our products are water based
and environmentally friendly.
